As you upload new wavetables, they will be added to this panel.

Note that wavetables are not saved between sessions, so make sure to download anything you want to keep.

Please consider sharing the wavetables that you create. It's easy, private, and helpful to other Pro 3 musicians.

About WAV2Pro3

WAV2Pro3 is an online wavetable conversion application for users of the Sequential Pro 3 synthesizer.

It allows you to upload a .wav file containing a group of single-cycle waveforms, and then download a wavetable system exclusive file.

WAV2Pro3 is an open-source project, and can be found on GitHub.

What to Upload

WAV2Pro3 accepts wavetables as multiple waveforms in a single .wav file. Requirements are:

  • The .wav file data must be at 16-bits
  • The .wav file must be 1,050,000 bytes or less
  • Any number of waveforms may be in the .wav file. WAV2Pro3 will automatically resize the wavetable to 16 waveforms by either morphing missing waveforms, or dropping extra waveforms

Serum Tips: From the Serum wavetable editor, choose or create your wavetable. Then, click on the Export menu, then select "Export All As 16-bit (.wav)..." Choose a file path and name on your computer. Then click Browse on this page to find your .wav file.

Vital Tips: From the Vital wavetable editor, choose or create your wavetable. Then, click on the top menu icon, then select "Export to .wav File" Choose a file path and name on your computer. Then click Browse on this page to find your .wav file.

Uploading SysEx

WAV2Pro3 also accepts Pro 3 wavetable SysEx files. You can use this to change the wavetable position or share wavetables that you have already created.

If you upload a SysEx file, the Wavetable Name and Frame Size values are unused.

Split-Point Wavetables

WAV2Pro3 also accepts an optional second .wav file, with the same .wav requirements as above.

If you set the "Split-Point Wavetable" checkbox and specify a second .wav file, the first wavetable will be active in the bottom half of the key range (up to around F#3) and the second wavetable will be active in the top half of the key range.

The "Split-Point" option is disregarded if the first uploaded file is a SysEx file. Split-Point generation requires two .wav files.

Privacy

WAV2Pro3 strips metadata from uploaded .wav files. If you share your wavetables, none of the original XML metadata will be saved in the database. Wavetables downloaded as system exclusive files will contain only the data necessary to describe the physical characteristics of the waveforms.

WAV2Pro3 uses a session cookie to pass non-identifying information about your last upload between the client and server-side components of the application.
